SAFE SANTUARY TRAINING
If you work with children or at-risk adults, you need to be trained on abuse awareness. You may also need to have a background check done. This includes all church staff, and volunteer leadership team.
As part of her new SPRC roll Sherry Newey has agreed to run our Safe Sanctuary program at Trinity. We are using a program called Ministry Safe that has online training with quizzes, tracks training completions and preforms background checks.
Sherry has identified and sent training links to18 people at Trinity that need Awareness training. If you have been assigned training, please take the time to complete the training.
The goal of the Safe Sanctuary program is to make Trinity a safe environment for children.
